Darius Martin-Baker

Tena koe, I’m Darius, deeply committed to catalyzing positive change in artistic communities. A proud takātapui from the Far North, I’ve delved into Rongoa Māori, Music, Theatre, Leadership, Business, and Finance. I performed at the London Globe Theatre, served as Principal Flute of NZ Young Symphonic Winds, and was honored as Highly Commended Rangatahi Leader at Te Tai Tokerau Maori Business Awards. Grateful to represent Aotearoa at the University Scholars Leadership Symposium at the UN centre in Thailand, my passions include decolonization and reindigenisation, sustainability, and community support.
