Hope Milo

Hope is a young Filipina-Kiwi creative currently pursuing a Bachelor of Communication with a major in Social Change at the University of Auckland. She was born in Singapore and her family immigrated to Tāmaki Makaurau when she was eight years old. She is a singer-songwriter, theatre enthusiast, and casual poet with a passion for uplifting rangatahi voices and promoting Asian representation in the arts. Her experience includes working with non-profits in the creative space, such as BIG FAN and Play It Strange. As YANZ's Communications and Outreach Coordinator, Hope oversees our social media, communications, and digital marketing. She is excited to give back to the local arts community that has provided the support and opportunities that have shaped who she is today.
